The Website-Tracking.com project was the results of a crisis situation that occurred in several website that are under our control.

To sum it up, sales went down, and we have exhausted all our ideas for the reasons without finding out what is wrong.

We decided to check the very basic of the foundation of our websites: Colors, graphics, text of the links, position of elements, texts - you name it.

But how you do that? You can always open your server log, and analyze it. Right. But we needed better then that. So we have created our own Website Traffic Tracking system.

Among other advantages, we have created a term: Session. Session would be all the pages a visitor have clicked on, from entering the site, to exit.

The next step was to apply our real time tracking system and follow up on visits, referrals, pages, sessions, keywords on a real time.

Looking on those sessions, was like turn one the light in a dark room. Suddenly you realize that what you have estimated that will work perfect gives a weak respond, and some links or images that you've thought that would ever draw a click once in a blue moon are working like crazy.

Equipped with this information, we have redesigned and analyzed our websites while at work on real time.

Improve on every business aspect of those website was soon to come.

Information such as what advertisement works, which search engines are sending visitors to us, on what keywords was flow, and corrections was made several time every day, according to information from our tracking system.

At the end, we have decided that there is room to share this system with the rest of the world, and so we did.
